There is something uniquely exhilarating about riding a quad bike across the sand dunes outside Agadir as the Moroccan sun begins its descent. The landscape changes dramatically just 30 minutes from the city: flat, packed tracks give way to rolling dunes of warm ochre sand, and the only sounds you hear are the engine and the wind.
Our quad bikes are automatic — no gearbox, no clutch — which means most people feel confident after five minutes of riding. Before you head out, our guides run a full safety briefing and practical session in an enclosed area, making sure you are comfortable with braking, cornering, and handling the bike on different surfaces. There is no rush and no pressure: you move to the open route only when you are ready.
The route itself takes you through a mix of terrain: open dunes where you can open the throttle, narrower Berber paths flanked by argan trees, and one spectacular viewpoint overlooking the valley where you will want to stop and take photographs. Your guide leads from the front and keeps the group together, but there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the ride at your own pace.
For families, we have junior quad bikes suitable for children aged ten and over (supervised riding), and adults can choose between our standard and larger performance bikes. Couples often book the sunset slot for obvious reasons: the light at that hour is extraordinary, and there are few more romantic experiences in Agadir than watching the sun drop behind the dunes from the back of a quad.
Safety equipment — helmet and goggles — is included and mandatory. We provide disposable buffs for dust protection. Closed-toe shoes and long trousers are recommended. Everything else, we sort. Just show up ready to have an excellent time.

Do I need a driving licence or any experience to ride a quad?
No driving licence is required and no prior experience is necessary. Our quad bikes are fully automatic — no gears, no clutch. Our guides run a practical briefing session before the ride until you feel confident. Most riders are comfortable within five minutes.
What age and weight restrictions apply?
Riders must be at least 16 years old to ride independently. Children aged 10–15 can ride junior quads with adult supervision. There is a maximum weight of 120 kg per rider. Please mention any concerns when booking and we will advise.
When is the best time to go quad biking?
The morning session (typically 9am) is cooler and the light is beautiful. The afternoon/sunset slot (typically 4pm) is the most dramatic — watching the sun drop over the dunes from a quad is hard to beat. Both slots are equally popular.
